Capital Canada Promotes Colin May to Vice President and Daniel Gross to Associate

TORONTO, ON - February 11, 2021 – Capital Canada Limited, a mid-market independent investment bank, today announced Colin May, an Associate at the firm has been promoted to Vice-Principal and Daniel Gross, an Analyst with the firm has been promoted to Associate effective January 22, 2021.
Colin May has been with Capital Canada since 2014, previously he held positions as an Associate, Analyst and Intern within the company. He applies his corporate finance and capital markets knowledge to successfully execute various types of transactions for Capital Canada’s clients, including M&A transactions, equity and debt financings, and valuations. Mr. May has diverse transaction experience across a range of industries, including aviation, restaurants and retail, real estate, consumer packaged goods, financial services and cannabis.
Prior to joining Capital Canada, Mr. May worked for the Government of Ontario in various accounting and financial management roles. He received his Bachelor of Management and Organizational Studies degree from University of Western Ontario, with specialization in Finance, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder.

Daniel Gross has been with Capital Canada since 2017, previously he held positions as an Analyst and Intern within the company. He is involved in financial modeling and analysis, research, and the preparation of deal documents for financing and M&A transactions across diverse industries.
Prior to joining Capital Canada, Daniel spent several years in Deloitte Toronto’s Assurance practice and on special projects in the Consulting business (for high growth tech start-ups), while pursuing his CPA. Mr. Gross graduated from McGill University’s Desautels Faculty of Management in 2015 and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) member.
