Capital Canada Limited acted as exclusive financial advisor to Fundy Drinks Ltd. in an oversubscribed financing round

Toronto, ON – January 21, 2021 – Fundy Drinks Ltd. (“Fundy Drinks” or the “Company”), the Canadian-owned sparkling beverage company and creator of VIVEAU sparkling water, announced it has successfully closed its oversubscribed financing round. VIVEAU was launched in Canada in the fall of 2019 with rapid national distribution and is currently listed at Costco Wholesale, Loblaws, Sobeys’, Safeway, Metro, Longos, Overwaitea Group, and many more. The proceeds raised will be used to continue gaining market share in Canada and begin selling in the U.S. market.

The Company is pleased to announce that investor Mark Dobbin has agreed to serve as Chair of the Board of the Directors. Mark is a well-known, successful, entrepreneurial investor. He was recently named Angel of the Year in Atlantic Canada. Amongst his successes is his investment in Verafin where he also serves as a Director. In addition to Mark, the team has secured the following Directors:
- Jennifer Steckel Elliott – Principal Director, Accenture and former Marketing Executive
- Adam Grogan – COO of Greenleaf Foods, a subsidiary of Maple Leaf Foods, which is the owner of leading plant-based food brands including Lightlife and Field Roast Grain Meat Co.
- Vinay Virmani – Chief Content Officer of UNINTERRUPTED Canada, in partnership with Drake and Lebron James
- Ted Grant – Founder & CEO of Fundy Drinks
